All funds raised from the following activities are used to support the woodland restoration project. For more information on specific activities see the diary page or contact us.

 

WOODLAND USES

·         Canoeing or rowing (boats provided). Bring your own life jackets

·         River fishing (in season)

·         Bird watching

·         Small camping parties (open fire and compost toilets)

·         Guided walks

·         Open days for groups by arrangement

 

HOSTED ACTIVITIES

·         Storytelling and environmental art days for children run by:

          Belona Greenwood (www.thegreenwordtree.co.uk) and Sue Squires (www.tillythetalespinner.moonfruit.com)

·         Drum & music workshops

·         Volunteer days – coppicing, dredging, balsam weeding, footpath clearing, bridge building, etc

MATERIAL SUPPLY

·         bean poles and pea sticks

·         coppiced hazel and willow

·         unique hardwood bird boxes and bird tables

·         green and seasoned wood for building projects

·         sculptural pieces of wood for gardens

 

MOBILE SAWMILL

·         Cutting and supplying various timbers from the project to specification
