WWOOF opportunities are back at Wrongs

Wrongs Covert has recently re enrolled in the World Wide Opportunities in Organic Farming group as a host and we look forward to welcoming volunteers in the near future. Although our accommodation is a little sparse, we can only offer camping while the social distancing measures are in place, it is possible to receive volunteers through the rest of Summer while it is still warm enough to camp and swim in the river! People who can accommodate themselves in camper vans would be very welcome to learn about all things permaculture and experience conservation woodland management. At this time of year we don’t coppice our trees, but we do spend a lot of time managing the vegetable garden and doing maintenance work around the site. Building bridges, mending bridges, strimming footpaths, making rustic furniture and animal habitats for sale and anything else that needs attending to. Coming into early Autumn we will start stocking firewood for winter. We would like to reinstate our project for free range woodland egg production, this time making it more fox proof while they are closed in for the night! We have an electric fence to install, solar powered of course. So if you would like to come and help us do get in touch!
